Is a very effective method of honing and polishing the cutting edge of the knife.
Material
Cubic Boron Nitride is the second hardest material after diamond. CBN offers high hardness, strength, abrasion resistance, and thermal and chemical resistance. Its stability makes it suitable for sharpening in conditions where synthetic diamonds are not normally employed.
Application
CBN Compound can be used with any strop made of smooth or coarse leather, balsa, or felt. Smooth leather is the best strop material for CBN compound.
How to use
CBN Compound does not require any preparation. Take a small amount of compound and evenly distribute it on the strop surface.
If the temperature is below 20°C (68°F), slightly warm the compound to soften it for easier application.
Over time, residue accumulates in the leather. If performance decreases, remove the residue and apply fresh compound.
