Top Grain Leather is the outermost area of the hide where the hair was is sanded during the processing phase to get rid of imperfections. Strops made of top grain leather have uniform and flat surface.
Use
Top grain strops are universal and work with any compound, including solid pastes. Mounted on a high-quality aluminum blank with 45° bevels and painted finish.
How to use
Gently slide the cutting edge over the strop, repeating 20–30 times for each side of the blade.
The motion should avoid damaging the strop with the cutting edge.
