Diamond-Ceramic Compound EXTREM® S20 Merard

The compound is based on the unique patented Cerax® technology — a combination of ceramic and diamond components that ensures high speed, efficiency, and stability of polishing even on the hardest and most demanding materials.

EXTREM S20 (beige) is used for initial surface finishing and is ideal for:

• super-hard steels and high-carbon blades,
• ceramic coatings (HyCeram®, LuxArt®),
• PVD coatings,
• semi-precious stones (hardness 4–7 on the Mohs scale),
• precious metals, including platinum.

EXTREM® by Merard pastes are compatible with cowhide, suede, kangaroo leather, nanotextile, Gunny Cloth, as well as cast iron and copper lapping.

To achieve the perfect result, the EXTREM system involves a three-step process:

• S10 — surface preparation,
• S20 — initial finishing,
• S30 — final mirror polishing.
