The set combines aluminum oxide and silicon carbide abrasives to match different sharpening needs across the full process.
Care and maintenance
• Rinse under running water with soap
• Use a stiff brush or toothbrush
• Hapstone Dressing Stone can also be used
• Flatten with silicon carbide powder
Flattening
For flattening, use silicon carbide powder with grit size at least twice as coarse as the grit of the sharpening stone.
Excessive pressure during sharpening is not recommended.
Natural production marks
Minor manufacturing marks may be present on the stone surface, such as saw marks or small chips along the edges and corners up to 1 mm. These do not affect performance.
