Hapstone Diamond Recommended Stones Set

Diamond sharpening stones are very popular due to their durability and versatility. They can be used to sharpen knives made from almost any steel while maintaining their cutting performance for a long time.

As the stone wears, new diamond particles are exposed, keeping the abrasive action consistent. The set also includes Hapstone Start Series electroplated diamond stones, which provide aggressive stock removal and excellent performance for rough sharpening.

All stones are mounted on blanks made of high-quality aircraft aluminum.

Grit Progression

The set includes the following stones:

• Hapstone Start Diamond (150 µm) — 100 grit
• Hapstone Start Diamond (70 µm) — 220 grit
• Hapstone Premium Diamond (40/28 µm) — 400 grit
• Hapstone Premium Diamond (20/14 µm) — 800 grit
• Hapstone Premium Diamond (10/7 µm) — 1500 grit
