Hapstone Modular Platform
Hapstone R2 Opti is a premium guided knife sharpener with whole milled angled clamps, a rotating clamp module, and a rigid upgrade-ready platform for advanced sharpening performance right out of the box.
Clamp system
The R2 Opti comes with whole milled angled clamps made from a solid piece of aircraft-grade aluminum and anodized in black for added corrosion resistance and surface strength.
Performance
Designed for users who want higher rigidity and more confidence right away, without needing to upgrade the clamp system later.
Clamping system
Whole milled angled clamps are especially well suited for Scandinavian grinds, kitchen knives, EDC blades, and fillet knives. The undercut design also allows sharpening knives with a full flat grind.
Why R2 Opti
Hapstone R2 Opti is built for users who want a more rigid clamp setup from day one. It delivers a premium sharpening feel and is a strong choice when clamp stability is the priority.
Machined from solid aluminum for higher rigidity and dependable blade holding.
Each clamp is fixed with a single screw, making setup quicker and more convenient.
The clamps can slide freely along the rotating clamp module to secure knives up to 12" (300 mm) long.
Two screw sets are included: short screws for thin blades and standard screws for general-purpose sharpening.
Base
The platform base uses rubber-coated feet for secure and steady operation during sharpening.
Stone holder
Supports 6" sharpening stones in Edge Pro and KME formats, giving you broad abrasive compatibility.
Sharpening performance
The R2 Opti combines a lightweight alloy guide rod with a wooden handle, a linear ball-bearing pivot, and a rotating clamp module for consistent angle work and comfortable sharpening.
