MATERIAL Plastic
ORIGIN OF MATERIAL 🇯🇵Japan

The knife sharpening angle guide is a simple and effective accessory for manual sharpening of kitchen knives. It helps maintain a consistent sharpening angle when working with sharpening stones. The guide easily attaches to the spine of the blade and ensures a stable, uniform angle throughout the entire sharpening process.

Using an angle guide greatly simplifies sharpening, especially for users with limited experience, allowing you to achieve a straight and predictable cutting edge without constantly controlling the angle by hand.

    Specifications

    • Purpose: Maintaining a consistent sharpening angle
    • Body material: Plastic
    • Contact surface material: Ceramic
    • Knife type: Standard-width kitchen knives
    • Compatibility: Suitable for use with water stones and other sharpening stones

    Important

Because the guide raises the spine of the blade to a fixed height, it is recommended only for kitchen knives with a blade height greater than 3/4" (≈19 mm). For narrow blades, such as folding or fillet knives, the resulting sharpening angle may be too steep.

    How It Works

The guide lifts the back of the knife above the stone surface, creating a fixed sharpening angle. The exact angle depends on the width of the blade and remains consistent throughout the sharpening process.

    How to Use

Attach the guide to the spine of the blade. While sharpening, move the blade across the stone, keeping the guide in contact with the stone surface. This allows you to maintain a consistent sharpening angle effortlessly.
