Abrasive
Chosera stones are made of aluminum oxide and are used for sharpening knives on Hapstone knife sharpeners.
Binder
The magnesia binder gives Chosera excellent sharpening quality and performance, with high wear resistance.
Ready to use
Chosera stones are preliminarily lapped and do not require lapping after purchase.

Recommended set
The recommended set consists of four Chosera stones from 400 to 10000 grit plus a complimentary Boride CS-HD 150 grit silicon carbide stone.
A full Chosera set of all 8 grits is also available without the SiC 120 stone.
Application
Chosera series stones are universal and can be used to sharpen knives of any steel, including high carbon, vanadium, and chromium steels.
All Chosera stones are 6 mm thick and mounted on high-quality aluminum blanks.
Lubricant
Chosera should be used with water as a lubricant. Just splash the stone or use a water spray.
Care
Do not soak Chosera stones in water for more than a few seconds. Never store stones in water and never dry near heat.
