Queer Creek are used for medium sharpening on Hapstone sharpeners. Queer Creek stones are mounted on high-quality aluminum blanks.

Queer Creek is mined in Ohio, in the United States. Queer Creek is sandstone with estimated grit 600-1000 JIS.

Queer Creek is preliminarily lapped and does not require lapping after purchase. Refresh stone surface with a coarse dressing stone if the surface becomes glazed. Queer Creek should be used with water or oil as a lubricant.
