Resin bonded diamond stones for cleanup, edge refinement, and mirror polishing after coarser Jende diamond plates.
Abrasive
Diamond resin stones work on all steel types and can also be used on ceramic knives.
Purpose
Designed to remove deeper scratches left by coarser plates and stones while continuing the edge toward a cleaner finish.
Finish
The progression covers routine sharpening, touch-ups, slicing-edge refinement, and preparation for mirror polishing.
Progression
The Jende Resin Bonded Diamond progression moves from cleanup and working-edge sharpening to fine polishing and mirror refinement.
15 µm (~1000 grit) removes deeper scratches after coarser plates and creates a reliable working edge. 9 µm (~2000 grit) refines that edge further, supports light repair, and begins the polishing stage.
6 µm (~3000 grit) improves sharpness and adds noticeable shine, while 3 µm (~6000 grit) becomes the key stage for slicing-edge refinement and mirror polishing.
1 µm (~15000 grit) takes the finish further and prepares the edge for additional refinement with very fine stones, strops, emulsions, or Jende diamond films.
Use
Jende diamond resin stones are splash-and-go stones intended for use with water. No soaking is required.
Use a moderate amount of water while sharpening to avoid black swarf buildup. A cleaner surface cuts faster than one loaded with swarf.
After use, rinse the stone and let it air dry between sharpening sessions.
