Format
The Hapstone Start Diamond sharpening stone consists of a 100 × 25 mm diamond plate, 2 mm thick, glued onto a 100 mm aluminum blank, 3 mm thick.
The aluminum blank has beveled ends for a secure fit.
How to use
Hapstone Diamond Plates are recommended to be used with water as a lubricant for the best feedback.
Clean or rinse after use, and store in a dry place between uses to prevent oxidation on the metal matrix.
Diamond Plates are ferromagnetic and should not be used on magnet-based knife sharpeners.
Refinishing
For pre-finish, use Hapstone 4000 semi-synthetic abrasive. For finish, use Hapstone suspension 9, 6, 3, and 1 µm.
