Empty Aluminum Blanks 6" (Pack of 5)

Blanks are used with sharpening stones on the Hapstone knife sharpener. Edge Pro format sharpening stones are fragile and must be attached to the blank blanks. This gives them rigidity and increases the life of the stones. The blanks have a standard 45-degree bevel and are made of high quality 3mm thick aluminum.

• Size:  (6 ⅓" x 1" x ⅛") 160 x 25 x 3 mm
• Working area: (6" x 1") 152 x 25 mm
• For stones up to: 25 mm (1") wide

How to use

There are two ways to attach sharpening stones to empty blanks:

• Water-resistant glue with high adhesion to metals and stones. We recommend 3M 77 spray glue. If you have oilstone, use 3M 80 instead.
• Water-resistant PSA tape with high adhesion to metal and stone. We recommend 3M 90080.

Avoid cyanoacrylate and dual-component epoxy adhesives.
