Arashiyama 6000 Grit stone is designed for fine sharpening and finishing stages on Hapstone-type sharpening machines.

Structure

Water-absorbing stone

The stone has an open, unimpregnated structure, actively absorbs water, and retains it very well during use.

Ready to use

Mounted and finished

The stone is glued on a 3 mm aluminum blank, finished, and fully ready for use.

Care

Easy cleaning and leveling

The stone contains active components that adsorb sludge, so it practically does not get dirty during sharpening. Sludge can be easily removed from the surface with running water without additional effort. If necessary, the stone can be leveled on glass or silicon carbide powder.

Use

Soak for 5 minutes before use

It is recommended to soak the stone in water for 5 minutes before any use, whether sharpening or leveling. The recommended coolant is pure room temperature water. Because the stone retains water well, it takes a long time to dry after use.
