Select II stones are universal, but they are specifically designed to sharpen the hardest steels.
Wear resistance
The stones are composed of aluminum oxide abrasive with minimal high-hardness bonding, so dishing is very low.
Ready to use
Select II stones are preliminarily lapped and do not require lapping after purchase.
All Sigma Power Select II stones are 5 mm thick and mounted on high-quality aluminum blanks for Hapstone knife sharpeners.
Use and care
Select II should be used with water as a lubricant. Soak Select II stones in water for 5 minutes before sharpening.
Never store Select II stones in water and never dry them near heat.
