Suehiro SKG stones are made of aluminum oxide with a vitrified binder for stable sharpening performance.

A fast cutting stone that forms slurry quickly and is good for reshaping dull or damaged blades.

A medium grit stone that balances fast cutting with better shape holding than softer soaking stones.

A finishing stone that forms a good working slurry and leaves a slightly toothy edge for culinary knives.
Use and care
Suehiro SKG should be used with water as a lubricant. Soak the stone in water for 5 minutes before use.
Never store stones in water and never dry them near heat. The stones are preliminarily lapped and do not require lapping after purchase.
