How to use
Release the locking knob to prepare the fixture for installation of a new piece of test media.
Install a piece of DoubleX+ Test Media according to the manufacturer's instructions and secure it with the locking mechanism.
Place the Aluminum Test Fixture onto a compatible Edge-On-Up PT50 Series sharpness tester.
Align the section of the cutting edge being tested directly above the test medium without applying lateral pressure.
Apply controlled downward pressure until the test medium is cut, then record the displayed BESS result.
Advance or replace the test medium as needed to maintain accurate, consistent, and repeatable results.
