However, please note:

To allow travel stops in both directions, the rod would need to be significantly lengthened.

This would compromise the ergonomics of the RS system, since the extended rod would stick out during sharpening.

It would also prevent you from fully using the wooden handle as designed.
That’s why we haven’t made this change standard — it solves one issue but introduces others.
