Hi,
For use with a leather belt strop, we recommend the following compounds:

Hapstone Diamond Suspension – excellent for fine polishing and available in various micron grades

Jende Diamond Emulsion – high-quality and consistent results

Luxor or Dialux compounds – solid paste alternatives, widely used and effective
Each works well — the best choice depends on the level of polish you want and your preferred format (liquid vs. paste).
